Blossom’s Escort, LLC v. Administrator
Ongoing administrative appeal, defending escort motor vehicle company from Department of Labor unemployment tax assessment; during the pendency of the matter, successfully pursued passage of a new statutory exemption from the General Assembly removing flag escort motor vehicle drivers from the definition of “employee”; matter remains pending on appeal as to several issues, including whether the new exemption applies to the facts of this case.

Savalle, et al. v. Hilzinger
Co-counsel, property/land dispute over whether ancient discontinued road was still available to the general public for access to property. Successful in defending property owner in lawsuit wherein plaintiff sought a court determination that said discontinued road could still be used to access property. See, Savalle v. Hilzinger, 123 Conn. App. 174 (2010); and Savalle v. Hilzinger, 158 Conn. App. 837 (2015)
